"Looks like Steve Buscemi" is considered an insult, so clearly people do not find him attractive. As a somewhat frequent joke, he must be at the top of people's minds as a representative of ugly. I am NOT claiming he is actually highly attractive, merely that: He is above average for the male population. I saw Steve Buscemi at JFK Airport a few years back and was shocked how different he seemed in person compared to the characters he portrays. The guy seemed as timid as a church mouse, but I guess it's a testament to his acting abilities. But, I was still shocked, nonetheless, that it was the same guy! The first feature film I ever worked on was also one of the first Buscemi acted in, a film called Parting Glances, which would have been back in like '85.
